Well I might be driving in a slower group if I don't get a chance to do some real driving before then. I'm going to have an insane amount of power by the end of the week, and I don't want to be testing the limits of 400+ hp on a mountain that I've never driven on before. You could always tag along behind me

You are making this very tempting. SESM 2004 was the first big single-make group drive I'd been on since I lived in So.Cal. back in the late 60's, and I can't say that I've ever had a better time playing in the twisties. You've tempted me enough for me to have discussed it with my wife (who won't be able to come along this time) and daughter (who would absolutely love it). My wife and I have always done everything together (for over 35 years now), but in 2005 she started having health problems that keep her close to home most of the time, and I always have problems deciding to take off for a few days and leave her home alone. Anyway, FWIW, you have all three of us talking about SESM and if I can convince myself that I can behave I may well take you up on your offer.

LOL, I could always just say that I had to drive extra cautiously because my daughter was riding along, but somebody who was there in '04 would probably call BS, 'cause she was riding with me then and it didn't make any difference. I really have to convince myself that when the time comes I'll be able to watch a group of S2000's pull away without giving chase. If you have any idea of how hard that is for me then I'm sure you understand.

After all was said and done. It was stretched valves. They replaced all of the valves and retainers and I geve them my 3mm headgasket and ARP studs to install. The whole thing cost 1349.55 not bad when I thought it was going to be around 7000.

I plan on it. Damage is damage. If I wreck it because I am being stupid at 70mph in the rain and wipe it out they will cover a totalled car but not 7-10k in damage if I am driving and overrev?? A mistake is a mistake whether its mechanically or cosmetically. We shall see. It is an internet based insurer and I will paint them black if there decision is poor.
I'm sorry but thats the most retarded thing I've heard all day. You're going to ruin the reputation of an insurance company if they don't cover your motor? You don't even know what the coverages are so how are you going to blame them for not stepping up? Unfortunately, you have to pay to play.
