O2 sensor is on the exhaust, particularly the one closest to the exhaust manifold. And no if it's just lazy it won't throw a code.

I changed it and the map sensor. Its worse now. Its throwing fuel from the exhaust. And its fluctuating rpms. There were 2 white wires when changing the o2 sensor. I kight have mixed those up??
