Driving to the corner store and i hear a loud metal crackling noise. Open the hood to find my heatshield laying in the middle of the engine bay. Broke right off the bracket- bracket snapped and bolt ripped right through the metal. Anybody else have this problem before? When i reattach with new bracket, are theyre any precautions i can take?

Also....does anyone have another bracket i can have

VTEC bracket? Is that the one that holds the VTEC fluid, or the Blinker fluid?

What heat shield are you talking about, do you have any pictures? That would probably help ALOT.

Probably means,"ZTEC",or Nick,the guy who sold these C.F.heatshields,for the intake.
You can get an exact copy,made of Aluminum,from Spugen,for $60.00.

How do i get a hold of the new bracket? Does anyone know who to contact? Thanks

Also...the bolt that was holding the bracket was ripped out in the process. Do i just order a new one through Honda?
