headlight out

Default headlight out

light went out today so removed the bulb and called autozone and told $149.00.almost sh#t.found one on amazon.com for $53.00 and with overnight shipping it was $69.00.there must be a lot of mark up on these bulbs

these are HID bulbs.... more expensive than the regular kind.

There are some dirt cheap ones on ebay. 20 bucks for 2 or something. I bought a couple because I doubt the quality is THAT bad. We'll see.

You should swap the bulbs side to side to see if you really have a bad bulb.

AND.........if you go buying bulbs off Ebay or Amazon you might not get the same heat/color range. Definitely go swap them first, then you need to go find the best price on an OEM or equivalent.

ha guys,thanks for all your input.received bulb and it works fine.how
ever the new one is whiter then the other so i ordered another for the other side.

i received the other bulb today and decided to try and change it through the fender hole drivers side.just remove the coolant bottle and it was less of a pain then removing the tire and liner.if you never changed one before i would go through the liner on one side so you know how it comes apart.
