Headlight Flickering/non-functional
I have a strange issue with my a headlight.
When I turn the ignition on one headlight works fine, the other however just flickers for 5 seconds then goes out. when I flash the brights the DRL of the milfunctioning light flickers again for about 5 seconds.... the bright doesnt seem to work on that headlight either.
To make the situation stranger, the light started working perfectly fine for a couple weeks (just after I bought the car, it had been sitting for a while), then I didnt drive it for a few days and the light went out again!
note the signal light in that headlight unit still works fine...
any ideas guys?

Bad bulb, OR:
Water bridging the printed circuit inside the ballast. Seen it before.
Disassemble the ballast, dry it out with compressed air.
Then find the braided wire cover. Remove the clamp and pull back the braid. You will see a red wire and a black wire going into the ballast. Seal the two wires with silicone, this is where the water gets in. Repalce the braided cover and clamp.
Problem solved, forever
It is most likely the ballast/water.
