Default Header, CAI and Exhaust= increase Valve Noise

Well, I've been checking out some threads b/c I am thinking about a TODA header. Several guys I've PM'd say that their valve noise is worse. In addition, I noticed that after I had my valves adjusted ther engine was REALLY quiet (I also had the silencer in). I ran the car the whole day with silencer in and it didn't make a peep. A day or two later, I took the silencer out. Then, the following day, I noticed the valve noise again; not as bad, but still there.
so, does having more airflow effect the valves negatively? Do they need to be adjusted more frequently?
thanks

Headers that use thinner guage piping will increase valve noise too. Basically, if you want it quiet, stay stock.

Tenblade, its the cost of modding the car..well besides $$$

It sounds pretty normal to me, I dont think you need to adjust the valves more frequently

Valve noise is not pleasant, but that is probably the reason why the stock header is so heavy. The stock header is pretty good, so you have to choose between heavy / quiet or light / noisy.
