head stud/bolt retorquing need to fine them all
I am looking to retorque my head studs and was just curious as to if anyone had a diy or any kind of pictures that may lead me in the direction of finding all 10 studs.
Thanks in advance.

take your cams and valve train out. Then they will be right there. They will be in plain view evenly spaced out once you pull these parts off. They are not regular hex head bolts but they have multiple teeth on the bolt heads (don't know the technical name for these).
Also fyi! Head bolts are torqued differently than regular civics and stuff. It's 22ft-lbs and then two series of 90 degree rotation on each bolt. So it takes 3 steps to properly torque your head bolts. The main thing here is that if you want to retorque your bolts i would think that they need to come all the way out so that you can follow the proper procedures. This may compromise the headgasket but I am not sure.
Wait for some others to chime in on this...

Do you have the shop manual? It should show the location, as well as the order for which they should be torqued. If you don't have a shop manual, I'd recommend you get one before you do this... otherwise you may end up warping your head.

Its a 3mm haedgasket and is supposed to be retorqued after a few heat cycles. At least it is recommended to be retorqued to check for settling of the studs. How difficult is this procedure considering you need to remove the valve cover and cams? Could a backyard mechanic do this in the driveway as long as he is careful?>
