Head gasket leak. Rebuild

Head gasket leak. Rebuild
So i did a full rebuild on my f20c, i had both the head and the block resurfaced. I installed the head gasket myself (i did exactly what the manual specified) And after i filled it with coolant, i noticed a leak on both the intake side as well as the exhaust side. The only one i can verify where it came from was near the rear of the head. I torqued the head bolts to the exact to what the manual says. I also used lacquer thinner to ensure there was no oil on the faces of the head and block.
The only thing i can think is that a few of the head bolts didnt slide down all the way but need a good whack with my palm to get them down.
Can anybody guide me to what i did wrong?

Are you sure its the headgasket. The reason I am asking is because I had a leak that looked like the head but ended up being the intake gasket. Anti freeze was running around the back of the head right at the ledge between the head and the block. Does it show up under pressure or just after you filled it up? Just a thought hope this helps.
