Default Head Bolts

Should I use ARP or go with stock head bolts. Also has anyone on here use the Fel-Pro head gasket?

Is this for the Big Bad Wolf? I’d say ARP studs. I don’t recall anyone using the Fel Pro gasket. The popular choices were Cometic and SCE.

I've always seen billman recommend the oem head studs. If i recall, he had a post earlier that the OEM ones were stronger than ARP for the F20-F22 engine.

This engine has no place for ARP studs, as they will yeild less clamping force. In boosted applications, they will allow combustion pressure to enter the cooling system.

Use OEM head bolts, and oil them as per the manual.
