Default Hawk HPS Pads and Honda Shims

Got the hawk pads about to go on the calipers but the honda shims dont fit over the hawk hps pads. It seems like the clips would have to be bent.

The hawk pads also appear to have an additional spacer built and glued onto the back side - unlike the standard honda pads.

Do I make the honda shims fit or run without them?

Working on the car now.

I didn't put any shims on my car when running the HPS pads, i'd say run without them, just use some caliper lube.
