Hello everyone I really can't figur out what is going on with my car. First of all my car is Turbo'd with a cosmetic 2mm headgasket. This morning I bled the system by jacking the car up, opening the block and firewall plugs poured water in until it flowed out of both of them. Closed it up topped off the radiator started the car with the heat on full blast. After a bit the fans kicked on and everything seemed good. I plugged my ems in and drove around. The temps stayed at about 217 then I washed the car turned it back on drove it around and my check engine light came on which my tuner set to come on if it goes over a certain temp. I don't know if i have a blown gasket or if there is air getting in from somewhere. I looked in my oil cap hole and the dipstick and the oil looked clean so I have no idea what's going on. Any sugggestions?

i think you still got some air in the coolant lines.
let the car cool down and check the reservoir again. if its air in the coolant lines, then the reservoir should be near empty after the car cools. fill it up accordingly to the MAX line and run through another heat cycle and repeat until the coolant level is steady.

QUOTE from S2K-F8
"I've had to bleed mine several times recently. Here's how I do it (has worked everytime)
- Jack up front of car
- Make sure radiator is full and overflow tank is at high level
- Re-cap radiator
- Crack open bleeder valve on intake manifold
- Squeeze upper radiator hose until liquid comes out of bleeder valve, then
immediately close bleeder valve (while maintaining pressure on rad hose)
- Top off radiator with fluid, cap and repeat until no air comes out
- Now do the same process, but use the rear bleeder (on the firewall)
Hope that helps

pay attention to maintaining pressure on the rad hose while you close the bleeder valve.
