Default Having clutch bleeding issues

Decided it was time to bleed the clutch today. I have done this many times in the past but I was having troubles with the hose falling off the bleeder screw and I ended up running the resevior dry not paying attention. So I bled again and my pedal still doesn't feel the way it did before the engagement point is very low and the pedal doesn't feel as stiff. Do I still need to bleed? Do I need to raise the rear of the car higher as I read this may help. I'm a bit stumped
