If your oil level does not drop, then it is being replaced by something. That is bad. Losing oil (to a certain extent) is good.

He is talking about the oil being replaced by fuel as time wears on I think. Smell your oil after it's ran for a couple thousand miles or so. I think as it gets burned off that some fuel can get into the oil via blow-by and this starts to thin out your oil. It may stay at the same level but is being replaced by fuel. Just my theory.

Or water, or dirt, or... It's simple really. It is natural for some oil to be burned with the fuel. If the level does not go down, then SOMETHING else is in there.
I highly doubt that this is your case. Perhaps, like you think, it just isn't measurable (yet).

I've had absolutely no oil consumption from day 1 , the s2000 now has 75000 km and oil consumption is virtually non existent. A few notes, the car is a daily driver and has the oil changed every 7500km.

The car was driven very gently for the first 10000km.

The first 1000km the max. rpm was kept below 3000 with the occasional 3500rpm when accelerating.
The next 1000km the max. rpm was pushed up to 4000rpm.
The next 1000km the max. rpm was again pushed up 1000rpm etc.

It took a while to get to the 10k km but it was worth it, the car is super smooth.

sorry dude, you are consuming oil. It comes from the factory/dealer full, and yours is half way between high and low. That is oil consumption, if it is not at full then, your are low. The car doesn't sound right when at the halfway mark. 1/2 was mark is acceptable to the manufacturer, but not good for your car.

I added 1 full qt after 900 miles. I add 1/4-1/2 qt after every autocross. 1/2 qt after a hard track day, 30-40 laps. I spend most of my time in vtec. I have become accustom to this. Add gas and then check oil.
