The fumoto drain valve allows me to change my oil without lifting the car. I don't think that would be true of the sure drain.

TIP: If you do decide to use the suredrain, you'll find the hose wants to stay in the "U" shape that it was packaged in. You can completely straighten it out by putting it in a pot of water at full boil, which will keep it from slapping around as you turn the screw.

I can change my oil without lifting the car. I have the fram sure drain. worth every penny. the money I saved by not getting the fumoto will go to gas.......

the only difficulty is getting my oil pan under the car.

also try cutting the tube in half. and understand that if for some reason you let someone else change your oil (especially the dealer) they are not going to recognize the oil bolt, and use their impact wrench on it.

The Sure-Drain kit you want is SD-2. This has 14mm x 1.5 pitch threads.

Our cars are so low... how do you get an oil pan under there?
