"R-VIT

The R-VIT is an ultra modern tool that can display much needed information about the vehicles vital running data in real time. Warning limits can be set that flash when you have exceeded a pre-set limit, thus reducing the chances of expensive engine damage.

The R-VIT connects to Japanese vehicles with an OBD II diagnostic port. These are mostly post 1996 vehicles. The R-VIT can display all the data from the vehicles ECU and its sensors on the inbuilt LCD screen.

The R-VIT can read and display real time engine readings such as speed, tachometer, water temp, voltage, injector pulse, intake air temperature, air flow, inlet manifold temperature, oxygen reading, throttle position and many more. The data shown on the R-VIT is dependent upon the data read by the vehicles ECU and varies in different vehicles.

The R-VIT can be linked via an infra red portal to the SBC iD Boost Controller. Information gained from the R-VIT can be used to help control and optimise the vehicle boost parameters through the SBC iD Boost Controller."

Gruppe-S is holding a Group Buy on these right now, and I was wondering what data is actually displayed in an S2000? It's cool how it's totally plug and play into the OBD-2 port.

I don't know what data our ECU reads and utilizes (I'm assuming everything listed above) but before I buy one I want to see if anyone has any experience with it first!

Thanks

This is very interesting. Can you point the way to that group buy? Price? Pics?
I can't see it in the GB section.

Yeah, it was part of a larger group buy from Gruppe-S.

Price is $369 shipped, seems like a fun toy.

It is a pretty fun toy but nothing you can really do with it other than look at fancy numbers.

I've been using one of these for well over a year. If you have a couple of days, I'll re-confirm the exact measurements the S2000s ECU will output for this device (I forgot the exact specs, I haven't really changed it since I started driving the car after its long winter nap).

Sure!

When you get a chance post everything that is displayed and logged please

I'd like to have one just to monitor water/air temps here in Arizona. Also it would be useful to have when modifying to know what the computer sees.

If you just want to log a few things the carchip may be all you need..

For $149 it does a great job.

wow! two very, very interesting products - I've always been curious about intake temperatures.

And plug and play!! so much for drilling holes in your dash for purty DEFI guages!!
