Didn't you just damage your car by slamming into a curb in a parking lot?

The OP didn't misshift. He miscalculated.

Again, people... be safe out there. I'm going to assume that these things were happening on public roadways. There's a time and a place for 135mph. Road America (Elkhart Lakes) comes to mind.

Yep. If you'd have locked any part of the driveline at 100+ this would be a completely different post.

I just think the way the OP started the thread is pretty damn lame telling us it's not our business and stuff. Im not the type to bash fellow s2ki members for their mistakes but having read the way you started things off i am sorry to say that i think you deserve to have a blown engine

@OneSilverS2k

Just let him troll.
I'm sorry, but a large percentage of the people who post in this forum have no intention of repairing their vehicles. They might break a fingernail. They are just hoping someone can help them appear to have some modicum of knowledge about cars when they take their car in to "my shop" or to "my mechanic." Pathetic.

I am not saying that's the case with the OP, or anyone else in this thread. In fact, it sounds like that does NOT apply to the OP. But that's where "under the hood" is today.

To each their down I suppose. Again this thread I did know would attract some " off topic responses "

The main purpose is to create a awareness and results of the destruction, and rebuilding of the car and motor.

Ahh the good news is, I work on all my cars. Iv built (2) '88 Supra's with 1JZ swaps in them, I just did a cltuch on the S2k, new retainers and keeper's, lash adjustment, suspension, etc. This car is # 27 that I have had now. I take great pride in what I do build and destroy. I am not happy about this incident at all, but I thought I would post about it in case someday anyone needed some info.

Thanks man. So far I know the retainer is in two pieces the valve dropped into the cylinder and I can see the park plug got " FU*CK*ED up bad " I can also see stuff in the cylinder ;\ I decided on pulling the entire motor and transmission out of the car.

I will update with when I get it out.
