you know....its very easy to go into 3rd from 4th instead of 5th...and also from 5th to 4th instead of 6th gear..... thats when over rev happens, especially if your redlining the car.

these miss shifts happen when your racing or in the mind set of trying impress somebody...

to the OP you just SUCK at shifting period.

Well you have to have some immature people on the forum board. Just in case you can't read, which you clearly can not, I went into 3rd knowing I was.. I didn't look at the speed though and that is what in the end lead to this - but thank you for knowing all the facts, you are indeed as asset to this site.

Not with the correct hand placement. If you hold the knob the same way for each gear, or grab it, you're doing it wrong. Each gear has a unique hand position.

Thanks, I do know what I did was wrong. I also know the consequences of posting on a public forum. What I was trying to accomplish though, was the fact that stuff can happen, and I will post my results. I think it is only fair I do this since I am part of this community and I have a responsibility to post results of good/bad about the S2000.

I do have the pictures already, but I am currently working on the car still. I have about an hour and twenty five minutes left working no the car then I will rest for a bit.
