Default Has anyone done a full DYI fuel pump install ?

Im going to be installing a fuel pump soon and wanted to know if anyone has done a full DYI with pics and all on it ... couldnt find much info on it.... being that its a returnless setup will a walboro that works in a civic return fuel setup work with the s2k returnless setup ? or is there a specific type of pump for returnless setups ?... if there is already a DYI on it can someone please link me to it ? because i couldnt find anything....

Nice link Sideways.

The pump is in the fuel tank. I noted how to get to it when replacing my top. You'll need to remove the rear tray to get at it. Not sure what other fuel pumps would work...might ask in the FI forum since it is a common mod for FI cars. I would just go with the OEM pump...it is expensive though...like $300+ for the whole assembly.

BTW...when removing the tray...take note of which push rivets go where on the tray. Some are different lengths and diameters but they will fit in the wrong hole and are a bitch to remove once you discover your mistake.

why would i go with a oem pump for 300.00 when theres nothing wrong with mine now... i just want to upgrade mine now but not sure what pumps can be used with a returnless setup

I thought it was only the 06+ models that had the returnless fuel system. The 00-05 models have a FPR and a return line im pretty sure, where as the 06+ models are regulated at the fuel pump.

I dont think the FPR on the ap1's have a return line ... ill check again... so i can take a walboro from my civic and it will work on this ? didnt know if it had a differnt partnumber or not...?
