CRV. 1st gen = 130 hp 2nd gen=160 hp. Both have 4 wheels to distribute this power to. It is unlikely that 4wd or no, that they are built to handle 240hp distributed between 2 wheels.
Besides, CRV rear axles are about as thick as your pinky finger and the fronts are differing lengths. Would they be talking about 2 right front axles? It's possible that they'd fit but extremely unlikely they'd be any stronger than S2k axles.

Here is part of how BMW keeps stuff from breaking all the time. A rubber disc called a "guibo" It goes beteeen the tranny output and the driveshaft, all torque passes through it. So it cushions extreme shock loads.

Has anybody actually contacted Driveshaftshop.com? I assume that is the place you guys are talking about. What do they need to create one? I live about 30 mins away and would be willing to drive out there to help out my fellow S2000 owners.

Kind of like a catch-22. You are not going to order one until you need it. But when you need it there will not be one to order. Oh well, if someone needs one and is not near the shop, I believe all they need is to take measurements. I'll be glad to drive down there and let them use my car for the measurements.

I just had my diff and drivers side axel replaced(inner and outer CV joins as well. I will have to see if the mechanic kept all the stuff.
If he did I will get it out to the shop one way or another!

High HP CRVs have explosive drivetrain failures.
One thing domestic racers from the 70's used to do is heat treat the ring & pinion gears to SOFTEN them. The durability was better and they avoided failures. Might be a pain for street driven cars. Has anyone Rockwell tested our gearset?
Wes, I have a spare set of axles if you want to borrow them.
