Harness....

I don't believe that will work. There are harness differences. One I can think of right off the bat is the air pump. The DBW cars don't have one. The ap1 ECU is designed for a wiring harness with a sensor for the air pump...you get a CEL if you remove the air pump from an MY00-05 car.

Wouldnt even matter. The AP2"b" 06+ is 4 plugs on the ecu and the AP1 and AP2"A" 04-05 have only 3 plugs. All of the wiring is different on the "B" and it uses CAN which the AP1 and AP2"A" dont use. Besides I wouldnt run a 2.2L with a 2.0L ecu anyway. Unless you gut the 07 and put ALL 00-05 wiring guts in it...there is really not a way around you just needing a 06+ swap and ecu because of the major differences.

Oh so pretty much If I have a AP2 I need to use AP2 ecu? I like having the 9k rev limiter on my AP1 so I wanted to make my AP2 like that but still have the torque from a AP2 motor o well thanks for the help.
