Going from a 2.5L back to stock is like prematurely losing a family member. I'm sorry for your loss...
Uh, try I went from 398 rwhp sc'd to 250 rwhp NA to stock again.

I will say, the 2.5L with 4.57's had a lot of folks at the track asking if I was turbo'd/sc'd and shocked when I told them I wasn't.

I haven't searched, YET, but was wondering is there already a DIY for eliminating this? I hated this on my old Teggy 5R and now also with the nisen.
I'll be doing this sometime this week.. NLT this weekend. If there isn't a DIY thread, I'll post one up.

[QUOTE=03AP1,Aug 5 2008, 02:40 AM]Mechanics kept my car for a month before they noticed the crank was moving (toward the bumper) a good 2 - 3 mm.

Just informed that the ACT flywheel is backordered. I still have my Comptech that'll get resurfaced. I just ordered my ACT PP directly from ACT and will have my local dealer take care of the rest.

I also talked to Jeff this morning and he informed me that he believes my problem to be "bad" parts and/or combination of improperly lubricated. He also stated that the ACT PP does not put enough of a load on the crank thrust washers to exceed their maximum design limit. He will be getting the block that had the excessive play from the crank. Once he gets it, I'll call and see what he finds when he (or whomever) tears it apart.

It's true, the ACT flywheel is backordered at most retailers, I waited for a month before I couldn't stand it anymore and then upgraded to the Toda.
