Hardtop Striker Installation
I've had these hardtop strikers for quite some time. I finally decided to install them today. It was a 10-minute process. I removed the visors, the light and then pretty much everything else was easy. I bought extra screws as I expected the old ones to be difficult to remove. No issues. If you need screws, let me know. The top latches much tighter now and seems much quieter. There are also some rubber pieces that are on the new ones as shown on the comparisons.
I also took the opportunity to remove the flux/corrosion on the contacts of interior light. A couple q-tips and some alcohol and it works like new!

If you are doing the contacts on your dome light mind as well grab that screwdriver and clean up your door pins too! Get the contacts cleaned up and put some die-electric grease on there. I have seen almost every S2K come in with lights not working at all, just one door and not the other or working only intermittently.
