Default Hardtop question

I am about to pick up a hardtop, VIS Mugen FRP Rep and I wanted to install it for my track day coming up. My question is, if I install the window and seals, would I be able to remove them (easily) for when I do have the top painted? Also, would I be able to reuse any of the seals?

Also, any down sides to not getting the top painted/treated? It will be in my garage and really only used on nice days or track events.

you should be fine with the hardtop being unpainted for a while. as for me, i just primmered it to be safe. but it'll be more work later on to paint it, gotta sand off the primmer and apply putty to get rid of the pinholes before paint. i would recommend you painting it before installing the lexan glass. it's just less hassle instead of masking the seals, or pulling out the lexan and installing it again after paint.
