Default hardtop question

Thanks in advance guys for any help that you guys can give me. I was just wondering if I need different side catchers and strikers to attach an MY00 OEM hardtop on a MY04. My friend with 00 S2000 is selling a hardtop and I was wondering if I would need to get complete new hardcore. Thanks again.

You may need to replace the driver's side rear catcher. They changed the way the switch worked for the newer cars. But I would isntall it first and see if the defroster worked.

The HT is the same for all years. The only real differances are in the defroster wiring and switches. An 00 needed extra parts becasue a HT was an after thought. For an 04, it was already planned. So you will not have to change the strikers on the window frame as the 04 had them from the factory. So just install the rear catcher, brushes and the small wiring harness and you should be all set.
