Default Hardtop question

I just bought a black hardtop for my 2002 suzuka blue. Do i need some kind of kit for the install??

There was a kit that came with my hardtop. I had the dealer install it, so I don't know much about the installation process. Look at the installation instruction from http://www.handa-accessories.com/S2000/s2k2top.pdf .

icic but does the color really mater on whether you need the kit or not?

I don't know for sure. You may have replace something to match your interior. Don't take my word for it. Let me check on my car to see if they changed any panel.

cool thanks, I have the hardtop with me but I cant get the rears to latch on. maybe i'm gonna have to buy a kit but for which one?

another question is there a reason why 2002 suzuka blue and silverstone dont need the kits?

You will use one of two install kits, depending on which model you have. Since you have an '02, you want the kit that fits the '02 and '03 cars. If your hardtop didn't come with the kit, you're going to need to purchase that separately. Contact Hardtopguy (Jeff at Ganley Honda in Cleveland) for a good price on this. He can answer any questions you have on hardtop installation as well.

dp2580.

The Sebring and Suzuka were new colors for 2002 and the hardtops come with the kit in the box, that's why you don't need to buy the kit for the Sebring or Suzuka.
