Well H and A is selling the OEM top for $2,390 which isn't bad. They are claiming $250 for shipping which seems a little high.
I think I'm definitely going with the Mugen fiberglass top. It just sucks that you have to get it painted.

Man, I have no patience and now I have to wait over a month. I spoke with one of the guys at King motorsports a week ago and he said he had plenty of hte fiberglass Mugen hardtops in stock. I ordered one this past Friday and find out today that they apparently sold their stock of 6 tops in 2 days. Go figure.
So who here bought a Mugen top last week you little weasels!

Recently the Mugen hardtops have been getting a lot of press.......due to that, there could have been many sales; but damn....6 in two days.

That's what I said. I think they might have sold a few, but 6 in 2 days? That seems like a lot for any peice of Mugen equipment.
I should think that some of these 6 owners nust be on this site, so lets fess up guys.
I hate waiting.

Hi Guys-
Exactly what would we gain by giving a potential customer bad info? Anyone that has done business with us knows we are brutally honest and have been for the past 21 years...
Jaded- I apologize to you that a hardtop is not available at this time. Your initial contact was 5 days previous to your order placement. Lots can happen to inventory in 5 days...
Cheers!

Scott, didn't mean any offense to you or your company since like I said, I have no knowledge of personal dealings with you. (My example was merely an analogy.) It's good you took the time to come on here with a reply. This bodes well for your reputation.
As for "Exactly what would we gain by giving a potential customer bad info?" ???????????????
Let's just say that for all the businesses in the world, the vast majority of them could give us many answers to that very question. We could have a mutipage thread filled with answers to this question. Glad to hear you can't think of any.

Scott, I believe you. I'm just mad I have to wait. I wasn't trying to take a pot shot at King. I just want my hardtop and I wanted to see who ended up getting the ones you had in stock so I can yell at them. Sorry I was immature. Now hurry up and get my hardtop!
