Default Hard Top Strikers

Hi Guys,

Where on earth do you guys get these from? I've googled my ass off and can't find anywhere decent to buy some.

I'm getting some substantial wind noise from my MY01 soft top and heard the best way to resolve was to buy some new strikers.

If anybody has any I am more than happy to pick some up (happy to travel quite a distance as I am inpatient and am always looking for an excuse to go for a drive

I'm based near to High Wycombe.

Cheers!

But before you shell out $70, try switching the ones you have with each other. Replace the right one with the left one and vice versa. That's an easy fix for most people.

There's also a write up in this forum somewhere that gives a nice quick fix by adding washers to your existing strikers. This effectively makes the top shut tighter and will eliminate wind noise.

Made my own plates to put behind the strikers, I added two of these to each side + swapped the sides over. Quiet as a mouse!

Thanks guys.

I bought a brand new set off of ebay for $40. The deal was too good to pass up.
