Default Hard right hand turns

Maybe you guys have heard of this before... I hear a mild rubbing sound coming from the front driver-side wheel when I make hard right turns. It only seems to happen on hard right turns. I jacked the car up and spun the front driver side wheel and everything felt fine and I don't see any rub marks anywhere. I even turned the steering wheel all the way from right to left to check clearance, no issues found... I have stock wheels and tires so that shouldn't be an issues. Could it be the wheel bearing or maybe the brake rotor? Any ideas?

Hey, i have this same noise that i asked about a while back but no one really knows the answer. there were many speculations but nothing definitive. I still have it but am more desensitized about it now.

Yes, it could be. But is it? Who knows. There must be some rubbing marks somewhere -- you just havn't found them yet. The might even be internal if it's something like a wheel bearing.

IS the car lowered? I doubt its the rotor because it only occurs when you lean the car on its side.

What is your tires pressure set to on all fours?

Have they been removed before? Are they properly torqued?

the lsd could be making noise, but i'm doubting that.

All tires have 30 PSI, I just checked. The rim has no scuff marks on the lip

Just to be clear, the visit to Honda last week wasn't for the current issue. That will be another visit, maybe. I just wanted to let you guys know just in case you had some of the same issues.

Weird.
I have this sound, which can be described as rubbing or pulsating whining noise, from the rear when I make a hard right turn.
The funny thing is it doesn't happen on hard left turn.
I initially thought that it was coming from the rear(maybe from the exhaust) but after reading this, I think I should try to listen carefully next time.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Dan

I have the same problem. I searched through the forums and I think the problem is the cv joint.

Mine was, at any speed below 30mph over any bumps, small bumps its sound like an upper control arm ruuber went bad. But when making turn into drive way (right) at slow 2 - 5 mph, feel like its disjoint one or two click. All this sound coming from the driver side forward. I'm doing my Transmission fluid tomrow, I'll check to see if I can find out where the noise come from. S2005 14.5k miles.
