Hard Braking Turns on Oil Light

car drives fine i dont notice any differance in performance gas milage or anything.. and yes i wipe the dip stick then put it in and pull it back out.. ill see if dave will take a look at it..

The oil light on the dash is turned on by a pressure switch at an absurdly low pressure -- around 4-5psi based on my gauges. You need to hook up a mechanical oil pressure gauge and find out how much oil pressure you are making.

After you check the level and are sure you're getting an accurate reading. It's a very simple job.

You have gotten a ton of good advice here. Take it to a good shop and get it checked out by a professional. Either you have a serious problem of the sensor is defective, either way it is a critical fix.

oil was bypassing the spark plug gasket.. replaced gasket, Valves Adjusted but ticking noise was the TCT, and am waiting for the part to come in.. as for the oil light i havent tested it yet with the new gasket still waiting for the TCT to come in before i put it all back together.... but ill let you guys know...
