I would guess that light is run off a pressure sensor. So I would look into the sensor, test it, check connections. Then the other part of the equation is the pump.

Let us know what you find out.

^ um my car is lowered... and everytime i bottom out i hit something but could never find any damage.. but then again i never looked at the oil pan.. as it has a bar going under it which didnt seem to be damaged at all.

i do have a oil cap on the motor.. and if i didnt i would have oil all over my engine bay and all over the windsheild because i have a vented hood.. <--- i only know that because its happened before at the track.. oil cap came unscrewed..

now as to the pressure sensor... where would this sensor be located?

i also noticed that if i take hard turns * not like massive hard turns where i get under steer but going fast and turning* the light comes on as well.. and if i stay in a turn it stays on the whole time.. i was going on a off ramp on my way home and it was a slight turn i was going about 55-60 and the light stayed on the whole turn 30 seconds-1 minute.

Are you wiping the dipstick before taking a reading? Not doing so will give you a very bad reading.

You need to take your car somewhere to have it actually diagnosed. This isn't some small issue you want to try to solve by asking people who have never seen or been able to diagnose your car themselves.

Don't keep braking hard and taking turns hard. Chances are, if you ran without oil pressure for 30 seconds to 1 min, your engine is pretty heavily damaged.

That leads me to believe that maybe the light is coming on erroneously.

Take it somewhere ASAP. That's probably going to be the best advice.
