Default Hard Braking = Right Turn

When braking hard from any speed north of 75 my car turns to the right. I'm not talking a little drift--I'm talking lane change type of right turn. I don't seem to have an issue at lower speeds and I don't have an issue with the car pulling to the right at a constant speed.

Is it that the brakes on the right side are gripping harder than the left? Alignment?

Thanks

Start by checking all your tire pressures.

B-I-N-G-O! That would be my first step too. If that's not it, one of your calipers may be clamping harder than the other.

Then alignment and brake pads would be the next suspects, I guess.

I had my alignment done about two weeks ago. I suppose it's possible that they didn't tighen something down and the alignment has changed???

I'll be replacing the rotors/calipers with the Spugen kit soon. In the meantime I guess I'll just keep the 100-0 threshold braking to a minimum.

I'd have your alignment checked as was mentioned the in posts above because this could lead to a serious accident if you had to sometime stop quickly (could throw you into a 360 spin). When it is pretty badly off like that it can severely affect the car in the way that you mentioned.
