Hard Brake Lines
I am currently restoring my S2000 (check sig) and have noticed that the hard brake lines that run from the ABS module to the start of the braided lines are looking a bit tatty.
Are there any products that could help me clean these and further protect them from rust? I will be using some form of POR15 to the chassis and thought that this would be ok for brake lines too? Kind of scared of the chemical changing products incase it makes the lines more vulnerable?
any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

I was hoping to just drop them slightly and support them from the chassis, but noticed on the rear lines there seems to be a connector somewhere near the transmission. If I am able to disconnect easily enough then I could drop them no bother...
Just wondering if after 15 years of use its better to just replace...

On the earlier models, the channel that all the fuel and rear brake lines run in can fill with grime or salt and debris that causes moisture to get trapped and the lines go bad. I've replaced all the metal lines for a bud. Had to drop rear subframe to get the rear brake lines in correctly. Fronts really need the engine out. Do them then.
