Default Harbor Freight Tire Lift Vehicle Jack

They sale for 96.99 and have a 3000lb capacity with a 11" lift. The item number is 95420-5VGA. I just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with these.. I am fully aware that Harbor Freight products do not have the track record of quality products, but I have not been able to find something like this anywhere else.

Just to lift it and get the jack stand underneath, it sounds good.

But with spending that kind of money you can get a low profile quick jack?

Or even better, some ramps?

I don't know, there are as you pointed out many different options.

Interesting product.
But unless it's proven to be reliable, I wouldn't use that as a main lifting jack on my S.

my boss has 4 of them for his 34 coupe. they work great in pairs. even better when you have 4. with one on each tire you can safely lift a light car high enough to get a creeper under a car and work comfortably. I use to bring my 94 s10 over there to do service work just because of them. I never used 1 at a time, we normally pumped the front 2 up at once and then the back 2. I can see if I can get over there this week and see how 1 works.

other than that its a great jack

Looks quite dangerous imo..
that tiny base...
I'd put stands under the car if I had to use that jack.

Yeah, the plan would be to just use it to lift and put jack stands underneath it. I dont trust ANY jack to hold something up by itself.
