Default Hanging up shifting into 3rd.

Hey, I'm a new owner, admittedly getting used to this clutch (coming from a 10 y/o tC with original clutch). I've noticed it seeming to get a little caught while shifting into 3rd. Almost as if the clutch isn't fully engaged, but I know the clutch is to the floor. Doesn't always happen, but it does more times than not. Seems to be more likely when sifting a bit slower. Anyone else experience this? Problem with the gearbox, clutch, or driver? Thanks in advance.

Every S2000 will do it.

Every S2000 can avoid it.

Get the revs over 5k, and get the shifter into 3rd a litter faster and a little firmer.

I guarantee it will go away. This trans was designed to shift at 9k, and low RPM shifting will show small quirks.

That makes sense, I appreciate it. I assumed it was something I was doing, seeing as the nature of this car is so different than my previous car.

You know, I'd never noticed that difference before; now that you mention it, high-rev shifting IS much smoother than puttering around town. I'll try not shifting around 3K like I normally do tomorrow. If that's all it takes, wonderful - here I was thinking my syncrhos were worn.

It may actually have something to do with the synchros because I've noticed at lower RPM if I take just a little extra time between shifts (in neutral), they are a little smoother and less notchty.
