take it to a plating company -
may not be hella smooth - but will look good.

i dunno - i like the stock "cast" look - maybe the valve cover - but not the intake manifold.

looks good though - congrats

Would it not be better to media blast it and then start polishing? What about media blasting then chroming?

Sideways, how will you keep it looking that good? Seems like some polished parts dull when exposed to the elements... will your manifold?

Clear ceramic coating. It's slippery as snot and wipes off with a damp rag.

Sideways is the polishing man..If you try though, you will succeed. I'm in the process of doing the spark plug cover, radiator stays, and battery tie down. After that will be a valve cover once I purchase one.

A dremel is your friend for those hard to reach places also

Guess you've never looked into this kind of thing before. Even one of the most expensive places I can think of (for 3000GT/Stealth stuff) 3sx.com only charges $200 to polish an intake.
