offhand, I would say check your brake fluid level. If that's not the problem, then your cable might need an adjustment.

Yes, IMMEDIATELY check your brake fluid level! If it is low, add some fluid to bring it up above the MIN line. You should then find out why the level is so low. It could be that your brake pads are worn down or that you're leaking fluid. In either case, fix the cause of the problem! Then I'd recommend a brake fluid replacement and bleed to keep the system operating properly.

If the level is correct (anything between the MIN and MAX lines on the reservoir), the reservoir float may be defective. One local member has this problem in which his float sinks, tripping the fluid level switch, causing the brake light to come on.

Another possibility (if the fluid level is correct) is that you have a defective or disconnected hand brake switch.

That would be your truly. Doc was kind enough to disconnect the sensor so my brake light isn't on all the time (which was annoying). If this is your issue, you just have to make sure to check your brake fluid level before and after every drive.

Good luck.

The TSB is only for Accord, Prelude, Civic and CRV. it does not apply to the S.

The S2000's master cylinder reservior is not built like those models. It has a float built into the reservior. it is not made onto the master cylinders cap. The connector plugs direcly to the switch buit into the reservior.

I do not know if the reservior is available seperately, I may only be available with the master cylinder assembly.
