Default Had Rack and Pinion replaced

Ok guys.... as with the HID issue, When I got my car I immediatly noticed that there was a great deal of resistance in the steering. If I turn the wheel at any off center, it wants to stay there! This is very unnerving as I will be at DBR6 next week. Even driving 45+, during a normal lane change, I turn the wheel to merge over, and have to pull it back on center....... it doesn't naturally straighten back out like before.

Is this a result of the new system or is something wrong with my steering?

not knowing anything about the EPS, mechanically it sounds like your rack screw guide is not adjusted right. its the very big, thin lock nut that you loosen and adjust spring tension on the pinion.

but thats not your responsibility to do if you got this done somewhere else. yeah, take it back and tell them your problem. hopefully thats all that needs to be done.

I know, I know.

OK, you need to reset the tourqe sensor neutral position. I had to do it myself as the deal said, "No code so we can't fix it" It is documented in the Helms manual. instead of the PCM, I used a paper clip to short it out and follow the learning process in the Helms.
