Default Had car for 3k miles and already a problem.....Misfire

VSA / exclamation sign / and check engine all come up, ECU gives misfire code. But car drives fine and does not misfire. I reset ECU, but today after about a week same thing happened.....

checked oil....good, car is 2006 and only has 33k miles, its also 100% stock....

What can be the problem ? Should I bring it to dealer or is there a quick fix (probably will) ? I dont want to just reset ECU this time since it seems to me there is something wrong, not just false ECU light

I am not sure but an exclamation sign could be a an warning to replace brake pads....
Check that or brake fluid level

brakes and fluid are good. all 3 come up at the same time. i am pretty sure that VSA and "!" are not the problem. Its that check engine that worries me. If car had 60-80k miles, I would suspect coil packs and plugs, but with 33k miles.....maybe defective ?

Wow, three lights and you're not worried or checking the code? Definitely sounds like something major get the codes scanned!

If the check engine light comes on, VSA is automatically disabled. Thats why the ! light is on.

I would move the spark plug and coil pack from cyl number 1 to number 2, and see if the misfire moves to number 2.

See if plug 1 looks different than the others.

Make sure you have a torque wrench for the plugs if you cannot tighten them properly by hand. loose plugs can destroy the engine.

thanks. that would be my 1st guess on the problem. but it should be covered under 3rd party warranty that came with car...with $50 deductible. I think I better off bringing the car to dealer and spend the $50...sometimes i just dont trust dealers
