Default Groundings?

Did anyone hear about grounding for our car? I heard you can get 10-20 hp to the wheel with this mod? Any info on this subject?

Actually it does work, but it only gains you like 1 or 2hp. Not sure if its worth the work.

How does it work? How would grounding electrical currents give HP gains to a gasoline engine?

There has been magazine test after magazine test and it only works to give you back any power lost thru grounds that have gotten a little corrosion and therefore higher resistance.

But since an awful lot of weird gremlinlike problems like funky idle can be traced to ground issues WHY NOT?

It's kinda like getting hp from new plugs. You didn't gain any extra hp, just got back what you had lost due to wear.

The hot thing on the Nissan forums is DIY ground kits. They buy the cables and connectors at Circuit City

Should help small things like headlights, idle, and 1-2 hp here and there.

It won't help with our headlights since we have a ballast system. It also won't help with idle or any gains of hp unless your stock grounding system is already going to crap. See my comments here on the magazine article...
