grond control problem

Default grond control problem

just put on grond controls on and lowered them the whole way to the perch and only an inch drop? do they have to settle? did i install them wrong? im pissed i thought it would drop it atleast two-three in.........HELP PLEASE

Did you properly preload your suspension bushings? If not search on how to do it.. It's been discussed before.

prelode on stock struts? i just installed them with what the gc instructions said.....also the the small link that holds the sway bar on to the arm its a 12 mm wont tighten now it just keeps turning.any one have that happen? any way to fix that? i just exspected more lowering out of them my buddy had the same set up and could tuck 17s all day.......i just think i installed them inproper...dammm i dono ...would love some feed back or links to help. ther gc for stock shock set up. anyone out there running this and know the fix? i had tien greens on it before,now i have fully lowered the gc and they are no lower if not higher....

have your friend that installed them correctly help you out.

The sway bar stud has a hex cutout for an allen wrench. I think it's a 5mm allen wrench. Hold it with the allen wrench and tighten the nut with a box wrench. There's a nylon sleeve inside the nut to prevent it from loosening...which is why it's hard to turn.

Preload/clock the bushings. Not the struts.
