John,

290cc is quoted in the MAPs I gave you albeit one of the early ones. The important thing is the use of Mugen ECU as opposed to stock ECU - see Maca thread just TTTd.

By the time you spend the money on a Mugen and all the eManage stuff you might as well have gone the AEM EMS.

This is the first I have heard of the need for a Mugen ecu. Of course that would be just AFTER I spent the money for the eManage.

Wheww!!!

I had the stock injectors flowed and I am almost positive they flowed out at 380cc. I have the flow sheets at home so I can check this evening.

Guys, see concurrent thread on injectors. (moderators??) Is size alone important (no jokes please) and anyway what does the e-Manage do with this data? How significant is it?

John, I am sorry you were out of contact and sorry if your tuner's time was misdirected but there is no single holy grail. The Mugen ECU goes with my MAPS but who is to say it is 'essential'? Maca's tuner had problems with the stock ECU, he says.

The site search has a gold mine of useful information, we don't use it enough. That's how I got my insight on Maca's SC dev. problems. He didn't tell me at sale time.

Jenner, Wesmaster, xviper are all worth a PM it looks to me.

Glad to help if I can as always.

Stocks are rated 360 cc. What they measure may be slightly different.

i dont know if any of you guys have actually used the e-manage on a s2000 or any obd2 honda for that matter.. but it sucks. it works GREAT under boost and at wide open throttle when the ecu is in closed loop. but as soon as you start trying to cruise where the ecu goes in top open loop the ecu will compensate for the changes in the e-manage. put a wideband in the car and go drive around and you will see. why spend all that money on a piggy back when for not too much more you can have something like the aem ems which works 1000 times better

Could you please. This is very important in getting the E-manage/larger injector ratio right. And I should be installing the new injectors this weekend.

OK, I finally remembered to get the test results out.

The stock injectors have 13 ohms resistance and flow 379 cc @ 43 psi per a test done by Marren Fuel Injection service.
