Greddy E-Manage
#31
My observations and results so far are
1. VAFC is only good with the NA and Vortech setup. I was able to control AF ratio nicely in both applications.
2. Emanage may struggle with injectors larger than 600cc. As I recall, Jenner had a fair amount of problem controlling his 700+cc injectors and ended up replacing the emanage with the AEM.
3. AEM is excellent but still not 100% yet. There are still a few bugs. I am still waiting anxiously for mine as horsepowerfreak.com is still waiting for the AEM wideband display thingy , so I can't say more than this.
Just my 2cents contribution today

Yes the Greddy emanage can control more than 600cc.
Here's proof. I talk to this guy quite a bit and he has a supra with 850 cc injectors and runs the greddy emanage. In fact he sells the greddy emanage on his site.

Yes, but thats related to the ratio of the old/new injectors. It gets to the point that the map feed into the stock ecu gets so low that strange things start happening. For instance, it becomes impossible to maintain a steady state driving speed because the slightest release of the throttle causes the ecu to totally cut off the injectors.

Right, but different OEM ECU's may behave better or worse than others when using large injectors with the eManage. For example, you may be able to go 2X on a Supra, and only 1.6X on an S2000.

with my setting: (Comptech Sc and A/C, stock boost)
plus 550 cc and bigger fuel pump than the Comptech provided and removed the Comptech FRP.
Can I take a new blank emanage and just input the injector conversion ration and clap the map sensor to 2.9 V and run the car normally until I go to the dyno to tune it??
