Default Greddy E-Manage

Heard some discussion on this over the weekend.

Does anyone have this installed? What kind of effect does this have on the car?

Increased Power? Torque?

This is definitely a 'Search' issue.

are you going to dyno?
do you have a baseline dyno now???

as far as searching goes... i did do some searching but too much information was returned to glean what i needed. Gernby if you'd like to supply some search parameters... that might be helpful..

warren by the few convos we have had about modding our cars i got a sense from you that you were planing on keep the car pretty much stock? if this is the case you would be wasting money with an e-manage. it really is only purposeful if your going to use for a tunning sense.

Fuel tuning on an otherwise stock car will provide more net gains than tuning on a modified one (aside from FI). I think an eManage or V-AFC is a great first mod.

Its not that I will not mod my car.. its that the mods have to make a significant impact to me...

suppose its something like a 25% differential w/ the device.. when used in conjunction w/ a CAI... or a particular exhaust... it might make it worthwhile to take a look at.

I have it with my turbo, and it's of course improved my car.

I just got a major negative review of greddy emanage from my builder. He says it's not going to give you more hp or torque because it's a piggypack and is still stuck within hondas parameters. I think he said that it may help you tune but it won't build power. He also said it is a bad choice for hondas compared to other methods such as aem.

I saw him installing one on mazdaspeed set up last week It must work well for mazdas.

I asked him about using it with FI and he said absolutely no way bad choice.

It was an interesting conversation, I was suprised he was so negative for a honda application.
