grease for axle nut?

Default grease for axle nut?

Im going to tighten my rear axle nut tomorrow according to TSB spec and I was wondering what kind of grease would be suitable for the axle nut?

Any high temp grease. I used an axle grease I had left over from the days when I used to re-pack wheel bearings. It's just to make the nut turn more easily so that it will accept the higher torque without issue. The bearing itself is a sealed, pressed in bearing, so the grease is not for it.

I need to do this aswell, as I have the clicking from going to reverse to 1st, What size is the axle nut that you must tighten down? its pretty big if I recall right

Also, you can reuse the nut right?

It's a 36mm nut and yes, you can re-use the nut. It's usually not a problem if you're increasing the torque. It's more if you had big torque on it and then used it with less torque that you would get a new one.
