Grease
Yesterday I installed my new differential and also installed the Motoklasse driveshaft spacers (my car is lowered with espilir springs). After going through the break-in period and raising the car back up on a lift to change fluid, I noticed grease (not rear-end fluid) under the rear area. I inspected the cv boots fairly closeley and was unable to find a tear or hole in any of the cv boots. Is it possible that by installing the Motoklasse spacers that I have compressed the halfshafts and they are spiining out excess grease? Please no flames. I am unsure as to where this is coming from. Any suggestions or help woukd be great. Thanks.

If they're spinning out grease, you should be able to see a line of grease on the body where it's flung away from the CV's. At least my CV's did that before I replaced the boots. I was never clear if they leaked because the boots were loose or there was too much grease in the them. I still get some grease seepage around the edges of the boots. Not enough for me to worry about though.
What's the chance you cut a balljoint boot?

I'm pretty sure the stuff is grease, as it has a dirty bluish-green tinge. I was not aware that the diff. mounts were liqued filled. I will check those out also and there is a significant amount, enough to be worried about in my opinion. Also there is no odor to this stuff so I know its not diff. fluid.
