Going to replace tranny/diff fluid this weekend..
Is this the LE1605 that I need for the differential? And I'm guessing i'll need just slightly more than 1 bottle to fill it up? I used Amsoil the last time.
ALso, what do you guys use for the tranny? I used the Friction Modified Synchromesh from GM last time. ANy better fluids out there for the tranny?
Thanks!

I've never personally used LE before so I can't comment there but if it's GL5 for hypoid gears and 75W-90/110/140 then its fine for your diff. GL4 for the tranny. You could also consider Honda MTFIII from the dealer for your tranny.

Been sleeping the past couple weeks and couldn't drop by here?
LE-1605 is NOT a GL-5 lubricant. Not anymore. Old formulation was GL-5 but it's not the same. Changed this year I think.
Anyway there's an extensive, fairly contentious, argumentative thread running with all the information I won't repeat since we don't need 3 or 4 threads on LE-1605. Grab a coffee or beer and start reading. Bottom line remains the same. LE-1605 is not a GL-5 lubricant.
