Going Crazy over Misfire o_O

I have removed the header to do my clutch...

The information on this thread is related to Nelson and his specific issue. Thread "hijacks" are frowned upon here as they lead to confusion and misinformation. If your specific car has an issue then start a thread. I would be more then happy, as would others, to offer advice. So the question is does Nelson have an aftermarket header not did Slowcrash do a clutch job. Don't mean to be an ass but having been here 14 years I get tired of this nonsense. Start your own thread!

I've been doing a once a year treatment on my rover and never had an issue. I never put it in my tank or crank though.
I'm scared to try on the S.

Mr.T that stuff can hydrolock a motor.. saw it happen several times when I worked at the dodge dealer. the cleaner would puddle in a corner of the intake manifold, then when you hit the gas it would suck all the cleaner into one cylinder and lock it up.
There is usually not enough of the cleaner released into the engine to cause a hydrolock. If the chamber is 50cc and you only put 3cc in, it wont hydrolock.

Well I hope I don't get accused of thread hijacking again, but I too fixed my misfire. I checked my exhaust manifold and lo and behold two of the bolts were not as tight as they should be. Problem solved, thanks FWIW.

The problem with seafoam is the way it is used: putting it through some system on a running motor to break up carbon. When the carbon is broken up, the particles are still very hard and have no where to go but right through the combustion chamber and out the exhaust. I have no proof that it damages anything, but I don't want to be the one to find out.
