OK, I know this sound stupid...
I"m one of the guys caught out in my 03 with a bad cat. You know, where the inside panel gets loose and chops the nose of the O2 sensor.
I need to get it smogged quick here in SoCal. It will pass the sniff test fine since the cat works, but, if I can't get to the test place before the nose of the 02 sensor gets chopped off again, I'm out another $50
Is there any type of glue/epoxy/liquid weld stuff, that I can squirt in the cat between the two walls that will hold it in place for just a couple days at the most?

I was talking to my local Honda dealer the other day about know faults on these cars and this problem came up, I didn't take much notice of what he was saying as I don't have this problem, but I do remember him saying something about fixing this problem with a well placed dent from a centre punch. Alternatively, if I was going to weld it, I'd probably drill a few little holes around the outside and weld it in place through the holes, welding the holes up at the same time rather than trying to do it through the o2 sensor hole.

I had my 02 sensor beheaded recently in the same fashion.
I went for the Asura cat, planning on getting it smogged with that piece in, so we'll see.
I opted to buy the OEM honda 02 sensor, not cheap!

ANYWHERE, i usually choose Ebay as they seem to have venders that realize it is a freaking anti-fouler you can get at a hardware store, some "jdm" or "racing sport" websites sell the bastards for $40 or more, dont pay more than $10, they all work the same by removing the o2 sensor from the stream of dirty air. Works like a charm too

Look for the little red "Help" pkgs that are in every autoparts stores and get the one that has the same thread size as the sensor. You will have to drill out the center of one (the pkg will contain two). Use one or both. I suggest both. If your going to go with a TP, transfer these to the new pipe to prevent future P0420 cels.

"Help" packages? Ok, I'll take a look.
My objective with this though is simply to make it so the tip of the O2 sensor is pulled back out of the cat by about a half inch. Then the nose of it won't get chopped off by the loose internal part of the cat.

Exactly what these antifoulers do. Thay are just threaded extentions that screw into the Cat/TP

Ask the sales guy to look up the sensor. You need the size that will fit the stock Cat. He'll be able to figure it out. There arn't that many styles to begin with so your chances are good you'll get it right the first time.
