I hit 59~61 somewhat consistantly in 2nd gear when the rev limiter kicks in on stock gears.

This is odd. Your car is geared to top out at 56.5 mph @8000 rpm. You would have to be revving at just over 8500 rpm to hit 60 mph.

What wheels and tires do you have?

Thinking about those drag racers tires that expand at speed and act like a constant variable transmission kinda thing.

Everything in between the transmission input and the tire is part of the "gearing" IMO.

I believe you. I'm just wondering if maybe your speedo is off or you have different tire sizes.

don't forget to correct for tire inflation (higher speeds) and tire deflation (lower speeds from all that POWER).
