GC Syntec?
Many of you may recall that I have lambasted Castrol for "downgrading" the term synthetic. On the other hand, I have been unbiased in providing details about their products (the oil comparo), but have lamented that their better products (like Magantec and R, etc.) are not brought into the US.
Well, kids, guess what. Latest Syntec bottles with the word "Outperforms" in prominent lettering is "Made in Germany". While it is too earlt to determine from UOA';s whether this is nothing more than a financial benefit to Castrol, it shows hope that Castrol may have got the message, and is looking to priocuide US in the USA with thye same qualities products they do elsewhere.
Keep it up Castrol, and you get off my Shiznit-list.
P.S. On the oil Forums, this has been discussed so much that the abbreviation "GC" (German Castrol) was adopted to allow clear distinction between the US stuff and the ROW (res t of world). Aint this fun?
